An influence to many of today's country artists, a colorful character and truly a country music treasure, John Anderson has enjoyed a career of 40 years, garnering seven major awards, including Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. He has charted more than 40 singles, 20 reaching the top 10 and seven number one hits, including: "Wild and Blue," "Swingin'," "Black Sheep," "Straight Tequila Night," "Seminole Wind," "Money in the Bank," and "I Wish I Could Have Been There."

Opening the concert at 7 p.m. is Rod Rider. Rod is a country music/musician from Southeast Iowa with over 40 years of experience performing across the Midwest.  Rod began at 12 years old singing at fairs and events with his dad's band.  His love for music grew from there sharing the stage with; Michael Martin Murphy, Mel McDaniel, Tim McGraw, Sawyer Brown, The Charlie Daniels Band, Joe Diffie, Collin Raye, Waylon Jennings, Alabama, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence, and more.  Staying true to the roots of country music, Rod tries to make each member of the audience feel like he is singing just to them .  Rod and his wife, Alicia make their home among the wooded hills of Van Buren County in Farmington.
